Welcome to the World Languages Department! Our team of passionate educators is dedicated to helping students develop the skills and confidence to communicate in a new language while fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures. Our comprehensive curriculum offers courses in a variety of languages, providing students with the opportunity to explore different linguistic traditions and global perspectives. Through interactive lessons, immersive activities, and cultural experiences, we aim to enhance students' language proficiency and cultural awareness, preparing them for success in our increasingly interconnected world. HUSD State Seal of Biliteracy
Students who meet the requirements for both English proficiency and Second-language proficiency can earn the HUSD California State Seal of Biliteracy.
There are different ways to qualify and students must pass an assessment such as an AP exam or AVANT assessment.
